Our
company ethos

At the Dion Black Foundation, we believe that potential is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not. We operate with the conviction that technology is no longer a luxury, but a fundamental right for success in the modern world. We do not simply provide hardware; we provide dignity, access, and the belief that when one person in our community rises, we all rise. We serve with compassion, act with integrity, and lead with the heart of a neighbor.

About Us

More Than Just Technology

Building a Legacy of Empowerment in Henry County

Who We Are

The Dion Black Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to closing the digital divide. We believe that access to technology is no longer a luxury—it is a necessity for education, employment, and personal growth. Based in Stockbridge, Georgia, we provide laptops, computer hardware, and essential IT resources to students and individuals who have the drive to succeed but lack the financial tools to get there.

Our Mission

To empower our community by removing financial barriers to technology. We ensure that no student or dedicated individual is left behind simply because they cannot afford a computer.

Our Roots: Henry County & Beyond

While our vision is global, our heart is local. The Dion Black Foundation was born out of a desire to serve the Henry County community. We saw neighbors, students, and families in our own backyard struggling to keep up in a digital world without adequate resources.

Although we are open to helping anyone in need, we place a special emphasis on lifting up our neighbors here in Stockbridge and the greater Henry County area. We believe that by strengthening our local community first, we build a foundation for wider change.

Civic Advocacy & Policy Reform

"Technology is just one piece of the puzzle. We also empower our community by advocating for legislative change. We work alongside community leaders to identify outdated policies, propose solutions, and support initiatives that foster equity and growth in Henry County. We believe in rewriting the narrative—sometimes, by helping to rewrite the rules.

Our Core Values

As our seal represents, we stand on three pillars:

  • Community: We are not just a charity; we are neighbors helping neighbors.

  • Empowerment: We don't just give handouts; we give tools that allow people to build their own futures.

  • Legacy: We are building something that will outlast us, creating a cycle of success for the next generation.

From the Founder

I started this foundation because I know the power of having the right tools. In my career in IT, I’ve seen how technology opens doors—and how the lack of it slams them shut. I wanted to use my resources and knowledge to ensure that cost never prevents a bright mind from connecting to the world. Whether it's a student needing a laptop for college or an adult needing skills to re-enter the workforce, we are here to help.
